Mobile Van for ACF

Delhi state has received a mobile van for the purpose of Active case finding. The van is equipped with CBNAAT facility and genset.  The van is regularly sent to all the chest clinics of Delhi on a roaster basis.  The supervisory staff of chest clinic uses the van for spreading TB awareness in the community.  The van is stationed near vulnerable population area, where health talk is given by RNTCP staff.  Simultaneously chest symptomatics are identified among the vulnerable population and CBNAAT is done. The tuberculosis cases those identified are referred to the area DOT Centre for public health action and initiation of anti TB treatment.
