The Clinical Section is an integral part of NDTB. Its primary goal is to provide expert opinion regarding diagnosis & treatment for all respiratory cases. A bulk of our OPD comprises of TB patients both pulmonary & extra pulmonary. We work in accordance with the National Strategic plan to Eliminate TB in India by 2025. We follow all the diagnostic & treatment guidelines laid down by WHO. Cases which require detailed imaging or invasive diagnostic procedures are referred to appropriate Government Centers for the same. All TB cases, once diagnosed, are referred to their respective area TB Clinics for management. Any complications arising during their ATT course or any side-effects of ATT are effortlessly managed here. Any patient requiring surgical intervention is referred to the appropriate department accordingly.
